| I first discovered that Ann Withers ( nee Tipton ) had commited suicide when I obtained a copy of her death certificate. The certificate stated that she had committed suicide by '... throwing herself into the river Frome whilst suffering from temporary insanity ...'. |
| It sounded like a story that could have been in the newspapers, so I decided to do some research. The article on the right appeared a week after her suicide. |
