Edward Tipton was Cecil Withers Great Grand Father. He is buried at Greenbanks cemetery in Bristol.
The text read 'In Affectionate Remembrance of EDWARD TIPTON who died November 24th. 1897. Aged 75 Years. Interred at Greenbank Cemetery, December 1st.'
'Affliction sore long time I bore, physicians strove in vain, To God it pleased to give me ease, And rest me of my pain.'
